WADE, Maine stanley cup 鈥?Two men were charged Thursday with the theft of about $8,000 worth of electrical extension cords from the Aaron Turner Potato Farm in Wade.When employees at the farm went to work Thursday they discovered that someone had gained entry into the potato house and had cut and removed several electrical cords from the machinery, according to Sgt. Brian Harris of the Maine State Police. Also taken were s stanley termohrnek everal electrical extens stanley becher ion cords that had been hanging from the walls of the potato house, he said. The owner estimated the value of the cords at $8,000.Trooper Shawn Whalen, who responded to the call, checked with local metal recycling firms and found that a large quantity of electrical copper had recently been turned in for scrap by two individuals. Those two individuals, Josh Doody, 21, of Washburn, and Matthew Tardie, 21, of Ashland, have been charged with burglary, felony theft and criminal mischief, Harris said.
